Born in 1982 in Bærum, Norway, Mustaparta began her career in the fashion industry at the age of 17 when she was discovered by fashion photographer Per Heimly. Her start as a model was incredibly successful, and by 2010, she had already graced the pages of Vogue and worked with H&M.

However, Mustaparta always had a desire to do more than just be a part of other people's projects and ideas.
