Mumbai: Mr. Baljeet Parmar is the journalist who broke the news of Sanjay Dutt in 1993. In 2007, he also wrote an article revealing how he came to know about the facts.

According to the report published in The Quint, in an article titled “How I broke the Dutt Story”, he gave the details.

On 13th April 1993, Parmar had asked Mr. YC Pawar, head of the investigating team about the investigation of the blasts case. Replying to his question, Mr. Pawar had said, “Apke MP ke bete ka naam aa raha hai”.

Later, Parmar had tried to find details from another IPS Officer.

He said, “Suna hai aapne kisi MP ke bete ko uthaya hai”. Replying to this query, the officer said “no” and said that the actor is shooting abroad.
